Effect of Organic and Nitrogen Fertilizers on Soil Fertility and Wheat Productivity in a Newly Reclaimed Sandy Soil

Two field experiments were carried out in a newly reclaimed sandy soil under sprinkler irrigation system at El Ismailia Agricultural Research Station, Governorate, Egypt during the winter seasons of 2017/2018 and 2018/2019, to study effect organic amendment (compost FYM) different rates nitrogen fertilizer (control, 75 100 % recommended dose) on fertility wheat productivity. The treatments arranged split-plot design with three replicates. Results indicated that 100% dose followed by 75% significantly increased all determined traits relative control conditions. Soil application compost FYM was superior for growth characteristics, grain quality, yield plants compared (without applications). or combined mineral plant height (cm), weight 1000 grains (g), Straw (Mg acre -1), acre-1). amendments N, P, K concentrations straw grains. Application had positive significant available soil. interaction between showed its attributes, protein content, total carbohydrate. Finally, it could be concluded farmyard manure improved properties productivity plants.
